After the launch of Android 9 Pie, Samsung decided to roll out the Android 8.0 Oreo update to its mid-tier phones and tablets. Samsung is planning to update certain of its devices from 2016 and after with Android Oreo.
The devices to get the update are from the Galaxy J series, few from Galaxy A, C and On series and also includes tablets. 7 of these 12 devices from Samsung were launched with Android Marshmallow and were later updated to Android Nougat. Now, this Android Oreo is the second major operating system update in these Samsung devices.
This is a great news for the users who are using the mid-tier Samsung phones as now they’ll be able to experience an entirely new interface, more stable operating system and enjoy great compatibility with new software.
According to AndroidPure, the update dates could change without any notice and also the updates can be ceased in case of an emergency technical fix.
