Amazon launches the grocery pickup service from selected Whole Foods Store in the US. As of now, only the prime members can avail this facility by using their PrimeNow App or by directly visiting says Techcrunch.

According to Amazon, Prime members can now hand-pick grocery items online which they want from the store and can pick up the items in as little as 30 minutes. This exciting change speeds up the process of buying as the customer don’t need to go to the store and waste time in selecting the products they need. Also, picking up the package is free if the order is above $35 but if it’s below $35 a pickup fee of $1.99 will be added.

From Whole Food’s fresh and organic produce to bakery and dairy products, you can shop for anything you want from the store and pick up within an hour. Also, in case you want your items quickly, there’s an option of paying $4.99 for a 30-minute pickup instead.

When done with selecting, the customer can park to the allotted spot and a person from the company will bring you all the items that you have selected. Customers don’t even need to leave their vehicles.

“Pickup from Whole Foods Market is a perfect option for customers who want to grab healthy and organic groceries at their convenience, all without leaving their car,” said Stephenie Landry, Worldwide Vice President of Prime Now, AmazonFresh and Amazon Restaurants

Customers will be able to pick up groceries from Whole Foods stores from morning 8 AM to 10 PM at night.

Back in 2017, Amazon acquired Whole Foods and now bringing this change to Whole Foods functionality makes it a tough-to-beat competitor for its rival Walmart which already has more than 1,800 stores offering pickup services. Amazon Prime members will also be able to get the same 10% off online on items which are on sale as they would get otherwise while shopping in the stores.

Amazon is also trying to bring in Alexa to the Whole Foods shopping to make shopping even easier with some simple voice commands says reports.

This enhancement in the customer’s comfort will make shopping even more fun and time-saving 🙂 Will you try the Whole Foods pickup service? Let us know in the comment section below-
